Safety and comfort first
We keep the room warm, follow your lead on handling, and take breaks whenever your baby needs to feed or settle. Poses are always simple and safe.
Before the session
- Feed your baby shortly before you arrive.
- Bring a spare outfit, a blanket and anything that soothes your baby.
- Plan extra time: newborn sessions should never feel rushed.

When is the best time for a newborn photoshoot?
Many families book within the first few weeks after birth, when babies sleep more. Send your due date or your baby’s birth date and BK Studios will suggest a time.
Can parents and siblings join the baby photoshoot?
Yes. Family portraits with parents, siblings and grandparents can be added to the session.
